What could be better than starting this year with some positive winter impressions from Switzerland.
Grindelwald is a great location for sledging and hiking (and of course skiing) – with views of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains – or to go up with the railway to the “Top of Europe” – Jungfraujoch up to 3571m elevation.
There are more than 5 really long sledge runs – one is the longest sledge run of the world (Faulhorn, 15km). Unfortunately this was closed at the days we were there, but we were able to try the others – Männlichen – Hollenstein, Männlichen – Kleine Scheidegg, Eiger Run (from Eigergletscher to Brandegg), and First – Rasthysi – Weidli.

Happy New Year 2022!
